I was a member of the Las Cruces New Mexico Club fitness. All went well until I could not go any more and tried cancel the membership per the contract. I advised them in writing, they kept charging me, I filed a protest to my credit card company, they refunded the money and blocked there bill. They changed there billing company name and charged me again. I filed another protest and won that one too. The stopped charging my card but billed me directly. When I finally talked to someone about the writen canelation. She did not say they did not get it, only that since I did not send it certified I could not prove it. This has gone on for 18 months. They are turning me over to collections, even though I have sent in the canelation again, this time certified.
